Southern Maryland United (SMU) is a youth sports and mentoring program focused on development, citizenship, and education. We at SMU use sports and on/off the field mentoring to help our youth navigate their way through young adulthood and life in general. 

Our sports programs help develop young men and women for competition in the sports arena at the "next level" and prepare them for the "arena" of life. In addition, we develop through discipline, education, and teaching our young athletes the importance of giving back to the community that supports them (citizenship).
